MOTHER MISSIONARIES OF THE ETERNAL PRIEST JESUS
Missionaries of the Eternal Priest‑Jesus in the World

“ And to you, beloved daughters and sisters Missionaries of the Eternal Priest‑Jesus, from all times and all places, I say: always have great faith in the love that Jesus has for each one of you, love the Eucharist, the Church, the Pope, all the Priests and the brothers.”
(Venerable Mother Margherita Maria Guaini)

Missionary Foundations
1. Bolivia
Our Mother Foundress, at the invitation of Bishop Giacinto Eccher of the Friars Minor of the Province of Trento, sent the first three missionaries to the Prelature of Aiquile in the heart of the Department of Cochabamba in November 1975. The following year, in addition to their missionary service at the Aiquile Boarding School, they established another community in the parish of Mizque, reaching many rural areas and promoting, in particular, the education of Quechua-speaking women and young women. In 2002, a school, "Fe e Alegría," dedicated to Mother Margherita Maria, was built to educate the many children and young people of the area. Over time, we have also established ourselves in the city of Cochabamba and in the Tropical region of Chapare, extending as far as Cichitania, the ancient area of the Jesuit missions, and more recently also in the La Paz plateau area of Quime and in northern Bolivia, on the border of Brazil, in the city of Cobija.
The male branch of the Missionaries of Jesus the Eternal Priest and the Oblate Mges, consecrated lay women, also have their headquarters in the city of Cochabamba.
2. Peru
In 1995 a group of Sisters left Bolivia to found new missionary communities in Peru, first on the coastal‑peripheral area of Lima and later in the Andes, in the Department of Ancash. Today the Sisters are mainly present in the outskirts of Lima, where they carry out parish apostolates, child‑care assistance and support for families in difficulty.
3. Uruguay
Since 1997 in the city of Montevideo we have devoted ourselves to welcoming and serving sick and elderly priests at the “Hogar Sacerdotal Mons. Jacinto Vera.”
4. Philippines
In 1990, our Foundress sent the first two Sisters to Metro Manila. Accompanied by the P.I.M.E. Fathers, they began parish ministry in the Parañaque area, a region marked by great poverty. In 1994, a nursery and elementary school were opened, followed by a secondary school and a novitiate house. In the following years, we opened several communities on the island of Cebu: in Danao, Tay-Tay area, inhabited by poor fishermen; in Cebu City, to care for elderly and sick priests living at the John Paul II Home for priests; and in Balamban, to carry out parish ministry among the poor.
5. India
When our Foundress was still alive, in 1979, three Sisters were sent to southern India for a brief and initial introduction to this new missionary reality. Our Institute's presence in India began in 2003 in the city of Ranchi, the capital of the state of Jharkhand in northeastern India. Here, in the Morhabadi area, the first outreach activities for the poorest children and families were launched, offering after-school programs for local children and youth. The first Novitiate House was later established. In 2005, a large plot of land was purchased in the outskirts of Namkun to create a "village of hope," with a farm and small houses for farmers and the poorest families, and a school dedicated to Divine Mercy, which today hosts approximately 650 students from kindergarten to tenth grade.
Since 2022, we have also been present in the state of Chhattisgarh with two communities: Jorajam and Pasan, where the sisters work in the parish and teach in the parish school. In one of these, precisely in Pasan, we also run a hostel with about 50 girls from distant villages.
The Holy Spirit gave a gift to Mother Margherita Maria Guaini, our Foundress, to accept and respond to a question mystically received from the lips of Jesus: "What use is my Blood if no one makes it count?" (cf. Psalm 30:10), by sharing the universal thirst of Christ the Priest for salvation, making known, appreciated, and lived the mystery of the Holy Mass, in which He, through the ministry of Priests, continues to offer His unique and universal redemptive sacrifice to the Father.
